Helpdesk Support Administrator:-

Position Title: Helpdesk Support Administrator
Salary: £17.5k – £21k dependent on experience
Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Contract Duration: Full time.


As a Helpdesk Support Administrator, you will aid customers using the companies online learning management systems. Whilst you will need to man a helpdesk, predominantly this is second-line support so is generally of a more technical nature and will require you to gain an in-depth knowledge of applications.

The role will require you to utilise a variety of skills, including customer service, technical investigation, logical problem solving, concise communication and all performed in a confident and pleasant manner.

Specific duties include:

  • Check and manage Helpdesk Inbox & internal ticket desk.
  • Receive and return support calls.
  • Log, follow-up & progress incidents to a satisfactory resolution or escalate.
  • Organise own workload to ensure key tasks are performed in a timely manner.
  • Provide ‘how to’ guidance to customers on application features.
  • Follow instructions to perform technical maintenance and housekeeping functions.
  • Support other teams by aiding with new site deployments, testing and data reporting.

It is expected that you will have previous application support experience which includes the logging, prioritising, and escalation of incidents. You will need to possess confident telephone, and excellent written communication skills.

A high degree of technical competence is required. You will need to be comfortable using Office 365 applications and have knowledge of operating system level features like file transfer & management, & tools such as Remote Desktop.


The role requires access to live infrastructure environments & databases, so, whilst over time you will be expected to learn the following technologies, any that you already have experience of will make you a desirable candidate.

  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies (e.g. Azure).
  • Understanding of database management and SQL (either MySQL or SQL Server).
  • Any familiarity with web technologies (e.g. HTML, PHP, CSS, DNS).
  • Email configuration.

The company office is in Kettering, initially though the position will be home based. Travel to the office is expected post covid19 but this will be on a flexible basis. The company are looking to start someone as soon as possible and will contact candidates within a few days if selected for interview.

Senior Learning  Designer:-

Position Title: Instructional Designer
Salary: £30k – £32k dependent on experience
Location: Great Doddington, Northamptonshire
Contract Duration: Full time.

We are seeking an organised, creative e-learning/instructional designer to join our team. We provide e-learning to a diverse range of organisations across a variety of sectors. With a strong bespoke content team we are now looking to extend our offering to other sectors.

The instructional design team works on a wide variety of projects, from formal e-learning courses to mobile apps and marketing animations. In any given year, you will produce updates to existing training courses, design new courses and design new interactive elements for our ever growing catalogue.

Requirements: “Must-Haves”

  • 2 years’ good experience of instructional design, including needs assessment, design documentation, storyboarding, procedural documentation, and product testing
  • A natural eye for multimedia design: layout, style, colour selection, motion, graphics and audio
  • An almost compulsive attention to detail – grammar and punctuation, visual design and layout, audio accuracy, and effective presentation
  • The ability to explain your thoughts and design approaches, clearly and in plain English, to people who are not designers
  • Able to communicate effectively with SMEs, in terms of client’s need, project scope, and technical abilities or limitations
  • Able to work on multiple projects concurrently and meet hard deadlines

Requirements: “Nice-to-Haves”

  • Experience with Learning Management systems
  • Experience with rapid e-learning tools like Articulate, Adapt, Camtasia, Captivate etc.
  • Ability to individually create solid e-learning training deliverables using e-learning programs, demonstrating a solid understanding of the application and utilising the breadth of the software’s capabilities
