PTS | PTS Academy marketing
As part of Cortexa's commitment to promoting the PTS Academy we often get involved in helping PTS conduct internal communication campaigns. In the summer of 2010 we took a camera crew to PTS Aldridge to get first hand opinions from PTS branch staff on how they felt about the academy.
Surprise!
"You can never know enough. The marketplace is forever changing with new products and legislation."
Mark Wallis, PTS.
Poor Mark Willis. With only a few days warning he was very graceful in letting Cortexa come up and film him and his staff in their natural habitat. Mark was very open and honest about how he felt and without the aid of a script gave a great showing on-camera. We felt really grateful for the co-operation we got on the day, especially at such short notice.
Why did we do it?
It was part of a viral marketing campaign we ran to support lifting usage on the PTS Academy. Cortexa felt that by putting the front line staff on camera this would help encourage other staff to take a look at new courses, revisit the academy if they hadn't been online for a while.
Helping with the cynics.
The video also comes in very handy with some of the manufacturers we meet who can't quite believe us when we say the PTS Academy really is out and being used in all the PTS branches around the UK. A picture paints a thousand words as they say.
The video was delivered online through the PTS academy and promoted through a viral and HTML e-mail campaign to PTS branch managers.
