Cortexa’s merchant and customer network has seen rapid growth already this year, since the start of 2011 over 30,000 hours of learning have been completed by learners throughout the building materials industry.

Since the Greenworks Gateway was launched this summer, over 1000 Jewson, Graham and Gibbs & Dandy customers have signed up to take advantage of the training available including a number of large housing developers, contractors and housing associations.

Visits are set to increase even further over the next few weeks as customers get to grips with online training and customer account administrators add more and more staff members to their custom learning zones.

Cortexa has recently launched the PTS Spares module. The module delivers valuable information to PTS staff regarding the spares market and customers, as well as how to effectively use internal systems to locate parts.

Nick Bell has joined as a Business Development Manager bringing with him 13 years of experience within the plumbing and heating industry.

Cortexa’s merchant network grew last week with the full launch of the Wolseley Online Academy throughout Wolseley UK.

As part of the project Cortexa have taken on Wolseley UK’s legacy content and as their new e-learning partner will be working closely with the team in Leamington Spa to build new Business Support content as well as delivering the renowned Cortexa Product Learning Library.

Delivering one message into multiple audiences in one go is something we believe our merchant network does well, however manufacturers often ask what other opportunities there are.

At the end of March we reported that our merchant academies had seen record numbers with just short of 8000 courses completed during the first 3 months of the year.

Since then, Cortexa have been working closely with the merchant audience and these efforts have seen another huge surge in the numbers, with 23,000 hours of learning delivered so far in 2011, across the Grafton Merchanting GB, Saint Gobain, PTS and BMF academies.

One question we get asked all the time “how little contact time do you need from us?”

Well, we now we have the answer. From start to finish we were able to complete not one but a series of learning modules for Belgium based Tyco from a single start up meeting.
