Cortexa’s merchant and customer network has seen rapid growth already this year, since the start of 2011 over 30,000 hours of learning have been completed by learners throughout the building materials industry.

Visits are set to increase even further over the next few weeks as customers get to grips with online training and customer account administrators add more and more staff members to their custom learning zones.

Building on the success of its employee training academy, PTS has introduced a specialist spares course designed to equip staff with the knowledge they need to offer exceptional customer service. Since launching in 2008, the PTS training academy has motivated merchant staff to provide a customer-focused service through a range of online modules. The academy has played a key part in supporting the careers and personal development of employees as well as making sure installers have the best experience possible when visiting any PTS branch.

Cortexa has recently launched the PTS Spares module. The module delivers valuable information to PTS staff regarding the spares market and customers, as well as how to effectively use internal systems to locate parts.

Cortexa’s merchant network grew last week with the full launch of the Wolseley Online Academy throughout Wolseley UK.

As part of the project Cortexa have taken on Wolseley UK’s legacy content and as their new e-learning partner will be working closely with the team in Leamington Spa to build new Business Support content as well as delivering the renowned Cortexa Product Learning Library.
